15 July: a little botrytis, velvety, amazing red, botrytis, nice color, can't distinguish from Red, filling in nicely, like the contrast in petals and centers, dark eye is great.

30 July: deadheading nightmare, flattened down in rain, deep color, tattered, holds color better than some reds, past prime.

15 Aug: botrytis, deadheading nightmare, indistinguishable from Red, many closed flowers, most ragged.

30 Aug: terrible, no open flowers, nothing left, deadhead, some botrytis, drenched by rain last night, poor foliage, outcompeted by others.

15 Sept: declining, leggy.
